Bishop Porfiry took part in the “Pedagogical Cover” forum, dedicated to the spiritual, moral and family education of youthtranslated

On October 21, the Grodno Regional Institute for Educational Development hospitably opened its doors to more than two hundred participants of the Forum of Effective Practices of Spiritual, Moral and Family Education based on the Orthodox Traditions of the Belarusian People “Pedagogical Cover”.

The forum is dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman, the Week of Parental Love and the bright days of Intercession. The meeting became a vivid example of collaboration between the Belarusian Exarchate and educational institutions of the Grodno region.

The forum was organized by the Main Education Department of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee and the Grodno Regional Institute for Educational Development together with the Grodno, Lida, and Novogrudok dioceses. The event brought together representatives of education departments (directorates) of district executive committees, teaching staff of educational institutions, clergy, students and their legal representatives.
