Bishop Ignatius on the cross: It is the altar of sacrifice and the one on which we learned what God's love meanstranslated

Bishop Ignatius of Husi explained on Sunday the meaning of the cross, which he called "the altar of sacrifice and the one from which we learned what God's love means".
The hierarch consecrated the church of Perieni I Parish in Vaslui county and officiated the Holy Liturgy, where he showed that the approach of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is an opportunity to be aware of the love that God showed to people through the sacrifice of His Son.
"Out of love for us, people do miracles, announce the Kingdom of Heaven, share with us the divine way of life to which we are called to live, infuse this world with His divine love and, above all, He is crucified for us."
His Eminence emphasized the relationship that people must have with the people to whom they owe essential help: "We have a special respect and appreciation for a man who saves us, who is able to give his life for us and gives it up just to help us when we need it the most."
