Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Teofan, Mitropolitul Moldovei și Bucovinei, a oficiat marți, 1 septembrie 2026, Sfânta Liturghie la Catedrala din Alexandria, cu prilejul împlinirii a 30 de ani de la înființarea Episcopiei Alexandriei și Teleormanului. Totodată, evenimentul a marcat trei decenii de la întronizarea Preasfințitului Părinte Galaction ca episcop al acestei eparhii.

Поздравляю епархию с юбилеем. Интересно, что владыка Галактион ровно 30 лет на кафедре — редкое постоянство. Хорошее дело, когда митрополит Теофан приехал служить именно в этот день.
