Excursion from the orphanage to St. George's Cathedraltranslated

On Monday, October 26, guys from the rehabilitation center “Neznayki Town” visited St. George’s Cathedral on a tour. This is a unique project of the Children.msk.ru Charitable Foundation, a mini-town and a unique center where orphans with severe diagnoses live, undergo rehabilitation, study and engage in creativity.

They were accompanied by the cleric of the cathedral - priest Dimitry Ageev, who carries out his pastoral ministry in this orphanage.

The children were treated to an interesting story about the history of the cathedral, its heavenly patron - the Holy Great Martyr George and the symbols of the interior decoration of the Christian church.

Residents of Dunno courageously overcame all the difficulties of the road and got acquainted with the shrines, visiting all three floors of our large and majestic church. At the end of the excursion, the children had great pleasure in ringing the bells of the small belfry. The excursion was conducted by the teacher and guide of the cathedral Sunday school, Maria Romanova.
