“ I am here because I am new in my role as the point person for ecumenical and interreligious relations for the Episcopal Church, and the WCC is the premier organisation that is leading the way for Christians internationally to engage in that work,” she explained. “ The historic presence and projects of the WCC are very important for us to connect, and to figure out how we can continue to invigorate our cooperation, our collaboration, and involvement with those projects as they continue to evolve.”

It’s interesting that she started getting acquainted with Faith and Order. We also sometimes have guests from Anglicans in Yaroslavl, but we rarely talk about such large programs. It would be interesting to read how they deal with anti-racism in practice.

Yes, Faith and Order is really worth starting with - it's the foundation. We also had Anglicans in our parish a couple of times in Samara, but the conversations were more about parish life and not about commissions. And it’s interesting about their anti-racism in practice; I’ll read it if I find reports.

It’s interesting that there are also Anglicans in Yaroslavl. A couple of years ago we had a visitor from the Episcopal Church at our parish in Voronezh, and he asked more about gardening than about commissions. But here’s what anti-racism looks like in practice - yes, it would be nice to read specific examples, and not just words.

It’s interesting that there are also Anglicans in Yaroslavl, but they rarely talk about Faith and Order. We had a similar guest at our parish in Nizhny a couple of years ago, so we talked more about joint prayer services. But what anti-racism looks like in practice in their parishes is really interesting - maybe someone has seen their reports on real projects?
