Days of Orthodox culture “Pokrovsky Evenings”, dedicated to the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation, will be held in the Pskov city of Velikiye Luki from October 9 to 16. For several years they have been carried out by the city Education Department and the Velikiye Luki diocese.
On October 9, Bishop Barnabas of Velikoluksky and Nevelsk will lead divine services in the homeland of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' - in the Klin churchyard in the Pskov province (now the village of Klin in the Kunyinsky district of the Pskov region). The Days of Orthodox Culture “Pokrovsky Evenings” will be opened by a religious procession from the Church of St. Tikhon in the village of Kunya to the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Klin, according to the diocese’s public page on the social network VKontakte.
