Two hierarchs consecrated the church in Giurgiulesti, Rep. Moldova: It is the laboratory of our resurrection, says IPS Casiantranslated

Archbishop Cassian of the Lower Danube and Bishop Veniamin of South Bessarabia consecrated on Saturday the "Resurrection of the Lord and the Holy Great Martyr George" Church in Giurgiulesti, Republic of Moldova.
On this occasion, His Eminence explained the value of the place of worship for the community: "It is the laboratory of our resurrection, the space where we cleanse ourselves of our sins, renew ourselves spiritually and prepare for the meeting with the Risen Christ".
"The church is God's dwelling place with people on earth, the gate of heaven and heaven on earth. When we enter the church, we step into a space of encounter with God, where we share in his grace and experience communion with him."
"It is the antechamber of the Kingdom of Heaven, the place where we prepare for eternal life," added His Holiness Father Cassian.
At the same time, the archbishop explained the spiritual connection between the church and man "called to become God's living church": "It is not enough to have a beautifully decorated place, but we are called to sanctify our own lives, becoming places of God's presence".
