A tour of the Assumption Cathedral took place for the heads of educational organizations in the Vladimir regiontranslated

On October 20, 2026, Metropolitan Nikandr of Vladimir and Suzdal conducted a tour of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in the city of Vladimir for the heads of educational organizations in the region.

The excursion was attended by the Minister of Education of the Vladimir Region S. A. Boltunova, First Deputy Minister of Education S. A. Arlashina, heads of regional education departments, as well as school directors in the region.

During the excursion, participants got acquainted with the history and spiritual heritage of the Assumption Cathedral - one of the main shrines of the Vladimir land, which occupies a special place in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church and national culture.

The excursion was the first in a series of educational meetings organized by the Vladimir diocese for teachers and heads of educational organizations in the Vladimir region.

Such meetings are aimed at strengthening the interaction between the Church and the educational community, introducing teachers to the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Vladimir land, as well as preserving and passing on traditional spiritual and moral values ​​to the younger generation.
