Divine Liturgy for Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Phanar (LIVE)
The Divine Liturgy for the great feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross is currently being celebrated at the Patriarchal Church of St. George at the Phanar.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is presiding over the Divine Liturgy, with members of the Holy and Sacred Synod and other Metropolitans currently in Constantinople attending the service.
The Ecumenical Patriarchate is celebrating today, Monday, September 14, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, one of the major feasts of the Orthodox Church.
Following the Divine Liturgy, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is scheduled to confer the title of Archon Offikialios of the Holy Great Church of Christ upon Professor Apostolos Kralidis of Thessaloniki.
