A children's playground was organized at the Vladimir Church in Seversktranslated

<p><em>In June, a children's summer playground was traditionally organized at the Church of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Seversk.</em></p><p>The mixed-age group of children included both Sunday school students and those who came to an Orthodox church for the first time. A significant part of the site’s program was occupied by spiritual and moral events; there were also summer entertainment events.</p><p>The unifying theme of the entire site was: “Connection of generations. There is no future without the past,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. On the very first day of the site, the children visited an exhibition in the Seversky City Museum, telling about the pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War. Together with the Central Children's Library, with which the church has a long-standing cooperation, a “Loud Reading” was held with a discussion of Nikolai Bogdanov’s story “Duel with a Ghost.” The priest of the church, Priest Viktor Shevchenko, read and discussed the story with the children.

As part of the “Day of Family, Love and Fidelity” in memory of Saints Peter and Fevronia, master classes “Family is what is always with you” (applique and drawing) were held...
