Children from Sunday schools in the Urals went on a horseback riding triptranslated

Prikhody.ru 10/13/2026. The traditional horseback riding trip, uniting children from the parishes of the Urals, took place on October 11. It was attended by parishioners of the Church in the name of the Supreme Apostles Peter and Paul in Severouralsk, pupils and graduates of the Blagovest Sunday school, as well as children from the Sunday school at the Cathedral of St. Maxim the Confessor in Krasnoturinsk together with their parents.
The program turned out to be rich and varied. One of the highlights was horse riding: for many participants it was their first experience of horse riding. Children approached the animals with delight and trepidation, and adults and instructors helped them get comfortable, reminding them that patience and a kind word are important both with horses and with each other, according to the public page of the Serov diocese.
In addition to skating, children and adults actively played outdoor games: chain-forging, tug-of-war, badminton, football, jumping rope. At this time, the adults took charge of organizing the camp kitchen and cooked fish soup over a fire, stewed potatoes, and fried sausages. Someone collected dry branches, someone helped cut vegetables, someone watched the fire. We ended the meal with hot tea and leisurely conversations around the fire.
