Oddelenie pre mimoriadne situácie v utorok zriadilo nové útočisko venované ľuďom v ťažkostiach v horských oblastiach. Kontajner sa nachádzal v pohorí Maramureș, neďaleko Pop Ivan Peak, v nadmorskej výške približne 1850 metrov.

Inštalácia zahŕňala spoluprácu medzi Generálnym leteckým inšpektorátom ministerstva vnútra a Salvamont Maramureș.

Kontajner s hmotnosťou približne 1200 kg bol na miesto inštalácie transportovaný pomocou vrtuľníka, pričom priestor bol pre pozemné vozidlá neprístupný.

Ministerstvo pre mimoriadne situácie víta odhodlanie všetkých zúčastnených a opätovne potvrdzuje svoj záväzok pokračovať v rozvoji schopností reakcie a poskytovať turistom a milovníkom hôr bezpečnejšie prostredie prostredníctvom investícií do infraštruktúry a prevádzkového výcviku.

"Útočisko nádeje" predstavuje zhmotnenie partnerstva, ktoré minulý rok podpísalo Ministerstvo pre mimoriadne situácie a LIONS Romania - District 124 Romania. V nasledujúcom období bude inštalovaných ďalších 10 takýchto prístreškov.

St. Michael's near Sighetu has those frescoes you mention—I climbed the path below it with my son last fall and saw the bell tower through the trees. But the new shelter's at Pop Ivan, way above the valley where the churches are.
