Knowledge Day at Rybnitsa boarding schooltranslated

On September 1, the Day of Knowledge, Archimandrite Andrei (Yashchishen), together with representatives of the women’s council of the Rybnitsa deanery, visited the boarding school of the city of Rybnitsa, where they took part in a ceremonial assembly dedicated to the beginning of the new school year. Addressing the students of the educational institution, Father Andrei wished them God's help, good health and diligence in their studies. Words of congratulations and good wishes were also addressed to teachers and educators who are entrusted with the work of teaching and educating the younger generation. On this day, the guests prepared children's prayer books and sets of stationery necessary for their studies for the first-graders. In addition, all the boarding school pupils, of whom there are about 180 people, were given a sweet treat - ice cream. During a visit to the educational institution, Archimandrite Andrei sprinkled holy water on students and classrooms, asking for God's blessing for the upcoming school year.

The visit to the boarding school was a continuation of the interaction between the Rybnitsa deanery and the educational institution and care for its students. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the deanery congratulated the children on the start of the new school year.
