The Zvenigorod deanery solemnly celebrated the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
On the eve and day of the holiday, events were held in the parishes of the deanery dedicated to the memory of the holy believers Peter and Fevronia of Murom.
A master class was organized for children, where young parishioners made a symbol of the holiday - daisies. Priest Mikhail Ormanzhi, responsible for the department of motherhood and childhood, congratulated the parents and wished God's help in raising their children.
On July 5, a traditional family bike ride took place. After the Liturgy in the Church of the Nativity of Christ and a prayer service, the participants set off along the route, finishing at the Church of Peter and Fevronia in the village of Zakharovo.
On July 8, a festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Alexander Nevsky Church in Zvenigorod. The service was led by the dean of the churches of the Zvenigorod district, priest Nikolai Kurenkov.
