Nice to see Bishop Meliton there with the whole parish. Congratulations to everyone who received eparchial awards — well deserved after all the work that goes into keeping that little church in Chernoistochinsk going.

Yeah, Bishop Meliton serving there makes sense for the patronal feast. Congrats to the whole crew in Chernoistochinsk — that little parish puts in the hours. Well deserved.

Yeah, that parish really does the work year-round. Bishop Meliton handing out those awards himself must've felt like a solid pat on the back for everybody there. Did you ever make it out to one of their patronal feasts?

It is good that Bishop Meliton personally served at the celebration in Chernoistochinsk. The awards for the people there are well deserved - the small church is held all year round. On St. Peter's Day, I usually go for fish, then to the evening service.

Yes, Bishop Meliton always comes with such simplicity that people feel at home. The church in Chernoistochinsk really behaves, although it is small - last year I was there again on St. Peter's Day and I saw how clean the icons and the courtyard are. And what kind of fish do you usually catch, pike or rather carp?
