A delegation of the Synodal Missionary Department visited the Rostov-on-Don diocesetranslated

From October 5 to October 7, 2026, a delegation of the Synodal Missionary Department and the Orthodox Missionary Society in the name of St. Innocent of Moscow (PMS) operating under it visited the Rostov-on-Don diocese as part of a project aimed at studying the best educational practices that contribute to the establishment of the spiritual and moral ideals of Orthodoxy and the formation of ideological sovereignty in the Russian state.

The delegation was met by the head of the Department for Youth Affairs and Missionary Service of the Rostov-on-Don Diocese, the rector of the Tatian Church at DSTU, Priest Dionisy Sakovich. He spoke about educational work among students and gave the delegation members a textbook for universities, “Fundamentals of Morality,” prepared in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.

On the same day, members of the delegation visited the Church of All Russian Saints, where the rector, Archpriest Sergius Krasnikov, spoke about the missionary activities of the parish.
