Children from Slatina will participate in therapeutic reading workshops at the Olt County Librarytranslated

Children between the ages of 7 and 11 from Slatina can enroll in therapeutic reading workshops organized, from October, at the "Ion Minulescu" Olt County Library.
According to a statement published by the Olt "Ion Minulescu" County Library, the program is dedicated to primary school children and aims to help them communicate more easily, socialize and express their emotions.
The workshops were initiated by the librarian Andreea Stănilă, after the experience of the Summer School organized by the Olt County Library. She noticed that some children are afraid to speak in public or admit their emotions.
"To have the courage to express themselves freely, to say what they think, to socialize, to discover their possible communication and communicative abilities with those around them, theater skills, reading, interpretive art, even writing," Mihaela Stana, the manager of the institution, told Agerpres.
Personal development The readings will start from the book "Therapeutic stories for children", by the writer Ioana Oțoiu, and the children will be encouraged to associate the experiences of the characters with their own emotions and develop the courage to express themselves.
