Romanian clerics from Western and Southern Europe analyze the challenges of the diaspora during a congress in Rometranslated

Romanian Orthodox clergy and believers from the five dioceses of the Metropolis of Western and Southern Europe (MOREOM) analyze, between October 7-10, the challenges of professing faith in the diaspora, during a congress held near Rome, Italy.
The first day of the debates, which took place on Thursday, analyzed the perspectives that Christian families face, especially against the background of social changes and the influence of the digital environment on relationships between people.
The participants discussed the effects of the use of social networks and screens on daily life, the education of children and the transmission of Christian values to new generations. The works sought to identify ways to combine fidelity to the Church's teaching with pastoral responses adapted to the concrete realities of the faithful.
At the same time, initiatives dedicated to family education and the ways in which parishes can become spaces of support and training for parents and children were presented. Special attention was given to the priest's family, the challenges of ministry in contemporary societies and the confession of faith by example...
