Church of Crete delegation visitng Ecumenical Patriarchate
Metropolitan Prodromos of Rethymno and Avlopotamos departed for Constantinople on Tuesday morning, September 22, 2026, as a member of a Synodal delegation of the Church of Crete.
During its stay in Constantinople, the delegation is scheduled to visit the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the Phanar, where its members will be received in audience by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
The visit takes place within the framework of the Church of Crete’s relations with the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Metropolitan Prodromos is expected to return to his see on the evening of Friday, September 25, 2026.
