On October 19, 2026, as part of the Week of Parental Love, an hour of spiritual communication “Honor your father and your mother: spiritual meaning and modernity” was held at the Vileika State College.

The event was attended by the rector of the parish of the Church of the Prophet Elijah in the agricultural town of Naroch, Vileika district, Priest Pavel Chernyak.

He spoke about the spiritual foundation of the family, the importance of respect for elders, how the institution of the family is changing today and what it means to “respect” in the modern world.
