Celebration at the Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon of Halki in Commemoration of the Saint’s Miracle

On the occasion of the commemoration of the miracle of the healing of a blind man by Saint Spyridon, the Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon of Halki will host the celebration of the Festal Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on the coming Monday, the 13th of the month.

The Divine Liturgy, during which the service of Artoklasia (the blessing of bread) will also be offered, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be presided over by Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos.

Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a reception will be held in the courtyard of the Skete.

On the evening before the feast, at 6:00 p.m., the Great Vespers service of the feast will be celebrated, with His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos presiding.

For the convenience of pilgrims, the following boat schedules are announced:

From Kabataş: 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 10:05 a.m.

From Bostancı: 7:10 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m.

Ще се опитам да отида на вечернята в понеделник вечерта. Интересно ми е как точно ще се проведе Артокласията след литургията, никога не съм била на този скит.

Θα προσπαθήσω να πάω στη Θεία Λειτουργία τη Δευτέρα το πρωί. Το καράβι από Kabataş στις 8:00 φαίνεται βολικό. Η Αρτοκλασία μετά τη Λειτουργία είναι κάτι που πάντα μου αρέσει, θα χαρώ να τη δω και εκεί.

I might try to catch the 8 a.m. boat from Kabataş like you guys. Never been to this skete either, so I’m curious how the Artoklasia goes in the courtyard after Liturgy. Anyone know if they use the big old trays like at our parish?

Pôjdem asi na tú liturgiu v pondelok ráno, loď z Kabataş o 8:00 mi vyhovuje. Artoklasiu som videla minulý rok v našom chráme, ale zvedavá som, či tam na nádvorí používajú tie veľké staré tácky ako u nás, alebo to robia jednoduchšie. Grace, ak pôjdeš, daj vedieť, možno sa stretneme pri pristávaní.

I’m thinking of taking the 8 a.m. boat from Kabataş too, like you and Antonis. Never been to the skete, so I’m curious if they still do the Artoklasia with the big old trays in the courtyard like at our parish, or keep it simpler. Let me know if anyone’s going in a group.

I'm planning to catch that same 8 a.m. boat from Kabataş. They do use the big old trays for the Artoklasia in the courtyard here, just like at our parish, though it's a bit simpler with fewer loaves. Fancy joining us?

I'm taking the 8 a.m. from Kabataş too, so I'll look for you there. Our parish uses five loaves for Artoklasia, but I like how they keep it straightforward here with the big trays. See you Monday?
