One of the most impressive moments of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth (ITO) 2026 was when the 2,400 participants recited the "Our Father" during the Holy Liturgy celebrated at the National Cathedral on Thursday.
The service was officiated by the Patriarchal Vicar Bishops Varlaam Ploieșteanul and Paisie Sinaitul, together with the Vicar Bishop Timotei Prahoveanul of the Archdiocese of Bucharest. The service was also attended by Metropolitan Agatonic of Arusha, Exarch of Central Tanzania (Patriarchy of Alexandria and All Africa) and Bishop Macarie of Northern Europe.

The young people, coming from the dioceses of the Romanian Patriarchate in the country and from the diaspora, around Romania's borders, but also from Sister Orthodox Churches, were accompanied by priests from their communities and fathers advisors from the Patriarchal Administration and the Diocesan Administration of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.
