Joy and emotion on the first day of school at the Theological High School in Târgu Jiutranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence Father Dr. Irineu, the Archbishop of Craiova and the Metropolitan of Oltenia, the doors of the Theological High School in Târgu Jiu reopened today for a new beginning of the school year, in an atmosphere of pure joy, emotion and hope.

The opening celebration of the school year began with the solemn singing of the National Anthem of Romania, followed by the Te Deum Service, officiated by a council of priests, as an expression of gratitude to God and prayer for the blessing of the new school year.

The word of blessing of His Holiness Father Dr. Irineu was delivered by Father Ionel Câmpeanu, Archpriest of the Târgu Jiu Nord Archdiocese, who addressed students, teachers and parents with exhortations to responsibility, perseverance and steadfastness in the work of education.

Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs was represented by the message sent by Mr. Colonel Gabriel Fotescu, and the message of the Gorj County School Inspectorate was sent by Father Inspector Neofit Stănciulescu.
