Divine Liturgy on Monday of the 19th Week after Pentecosttranslated

On Monday of the 19th week after Pentecost, October 5, 2026, His Eminence Stephen, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the St. Nicholas Monastery of Gomel.

His Eminence was served by the dean of the monasteries of the Gomel diocese and the acting abbot of the monastery, Abbot Theodorit (Zolotarev) and the brethren of the monastery in holy orders.

During the service, Abbess Archelaus, the abbess of the Kormyansky convent, prayed with the sisters of the monastery.

During the Divine Liturgy, intense prayer requests for the restoration of the world were offered.

At the end of the service, Archbishop Stefan congratulated Hegumen Theodorit (Zolotarev) on his 40th birthday. The Bishop wished him good health, spiritual and physical strength, wisdom and God’s help in his future service. The archpastor noted that Abbot Theodoret enjoys the respect and love of believers, and wished him the prayerful intercession of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, peace and prosperity for many prosperous years to come.
