On September 22, on the feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, the day of commemoration of the Righteous Saints Joachim and Anna, Metropolitan Lognin of Simbirsk and Novospassk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church Named after the Righteous Saints Joachim and Anna of Ul'yanovsk.
His Eminence was assisted by the parish priest Father Sergius Efremov, Priest Michael Litvishenko, Head of Protocol at the Diocesan Administration Father Valeriy Stavrovsky, Father Sergius Chernov, Deacon John Kosyakov, and Deacon Gregory Shevchenko.
