Blessing hierarchic pentru parishia Țuglui II, din județul Doljtranslated

On the 22nd Sunday after Pentecost, on November 1, 2026, the faithful of the parish Țuglui II, from the Protoeparchy of South Craiova, experienced the spiritual joy of the presence of the Venerable Father Dr. Irineu, Archbishop of Craiova and Metropolitan of Oltenia. The hierarch consecrated the parish chapel with the hagiographies of "St. M. Mc. George and St. M. Mc. Nestor," Țuglui II, and celebrated the High Priestly Divine Liturgy, accompanied by a selected sobor of priests and deacons, alongside Father Protoierei Emilian Cimpoeru, from the Protoeparchy of North Craiova, and Aurel Gușețelu, from the Protoeparchy of South Craiova.
In his homily, the hierarch explained the biblical pericope from the Rich Man and Lazarus: "In this Sunday's Gospel, Evangelist Luke tells us that a poor man named Lazarus was lying at the gate of a rich man. This man was so poor that he fed on the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, he was sick and covered with sores, and the only living creatures that showed him any kindness were the dogs that licked his sores. Thus, Lazarus waited by this rich man until he died, and his soul was taken by the angels to heaven, to Abraham's bosom."
