“Without masks: a dialogue about values and meanings”: a diocesan cleric talked with ninth-graders of Lida secondary school No. 9translated

On October 3, a very important and truly lively meeting took place at secondary school No. 9. The guest of honor was the rector of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky, Archpriest Rostislav Lemachko.

Ninth-graders gathered for the meeting - young people to whom they are already opening up opportunities for self-determination, choice of profession and life path. It turned out to be very honest sometimes difficult, but very necessary dialogue. Father Rostislav spoke about difficult things at examples of famous people, correlating your thoughts with the Holy Scriptures.

What was especially valuable was that the conversation was not about abstract ideals, but about real situations: how to choose when everyone around you does things differently; how to cope with feelings of loneliness and misunderstanding; where to look for the meaning of life.
