Belgorod Theological Seminary celebrated the 30th anniversary of the revivaltranslated

With the blessing of Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, on October 6, the day of remembrance of St. Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna, Apostle of All Siberia and America, celebrations were held in Belgorod on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the revival of the Belgorod Orthodox Theological Seminary (with a missionary orientation). Over the years, 1,335 people graduated from the educational institution. The celebration began with the Divine Liturgy in the Transfiguration Cathedral, which was performed by the Head of the Belgorod Metropolis, Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, who was the rector of the seminary from 1996 to 2015. Concelebrating with him were graduates of different years in the priesthood, serving throughout Russia and beyond its borders. At the end of the service, glorification was performed before the icon of St. Innocent and the missionary’s prayer was read. The solemn act continued within the walls of the seminary. Addressing the faculty corporation, graduates and guests, Metropolitan John recalled how the educational institution was created in the mid-90s.
