The Association of Christian-Orthodox Students from Romania (ASCOR) - the Cluj-Napoca branch organizes on Saturday, October 10, 2026, a new edition of the Big Hearts Cross, for the benefit of the "Saint Hristofor" Pediatric Palliative Care Center of the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj.
The event will benefit from the presence of His Holiness Father Samuel Bistrițeanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj.
Under the slogan "Together at every kilometer", this year's edition continues the approach started in 2024: transforming the joy of movement into concrete support for children who need palliative care and their families, the organizers say.
Categories Participants will be able to compete in several categories of difficulty:
11:00 a.m. – Marele Cros (5 km), intended for people over 14 years old. 12:15 p.m. – Little Cross Country (800 m), intended for children up to 14 years old. 1:00 p.m. – Family Cross Country (800 m), intended for family teams consisting of two, three or four people, provided that there is at least one adult or participant over 14 years old and at least one child under 14 years old in each team.…
