Art and emotional health: How culture can support well-beingtranslated

Art can contribute to emotional health and inner balance by stimulating emotions, empathy and personal reflection. Prof. Dr. Dafin Mureșanu, president of the RoNeuro Institute in Cluj-Napoca, spoke about this connection in the context of a meeting dedicated to the relationship between culture and neuroscience.
According to Agerpres, the specialist explained that sleep, exercise and nutrition are important for a healthy life, but human interaction and emotional balance play an essential role.
Art can contribute to this balance by stimulating emotions and complex forms of perception. Reading, theater and other forms of artistic expression offer, according to the neurologist, spaces where people can calm down and connect with their own experiences.
"For our brain and heart, it is very important to have this arena of artistic manifestations, and the theater legitimizes it the best. Art is a healing approach," emphasized Dr. Dafin Mureșanu.
