Archpastoral visit to the parish of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the agricultural town of Orekhovsky, Kobrin districttranslated

On August 1, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, Archbishop John of Brest and Kobrin celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov in the agricultural town of Orekhovsky, Kobrin district, on the occasion of the patronal feast day and the 20th anniversary of the consecration.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were: the dean of the churches of the Kobrin district, the rector of the Cathedral of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Kobrin, Archpriest Sergius Utrata; the rector of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the agricultural town of Orekhovsky, Priest Anthony Efimenko; clergy of the Drogichin and Kobrin deaneries of the Brest diocese.
The diaconal rank was headed by the cleric of the Cathedral of St. Simeon the Stylite in Brest, Deacon John Boksha.
After the special litany, Archbishop John offered a prayer for the restoration of peace.
The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir under the direction of Archpriest Gennady Voron.
The director of OJSC Dnepro-Bugskoe, Artemy Kamaluttinovich Shchamkhalov, was present at the service.
