Archiepiscopal Divine Liturgy on the Eve of the Feast Day of the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Have Mercy on Our Lowliness"translated

On the evening of September 28, 2026, in the eve of the feast day of the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Have Mercy on Our Lowliness," Archbishop of Brest and Kobrin Ioann celebrated Vespers with the service of reading an akathist before the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Have Mercy on Our Lowliness" in the cathedral church of St. Simon the Pillar-Wearer in the city of Brest, in the presence of the cathedral clergy.

After the reading of the Gospel, Archbishop Ioann addressed the worshippers with a word of exhortation.
