On September 20, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', Archbishop Roman of Yakutsk and Lensk celebrated a memorial service for Bishop Dionysius (Khitrov), the first administrator of the Yakut diocese established in 1870.
