Рада за румунських братів, що в них новий єпископ з’явиться. Цікаво, що хіротонія саме на Різдво Богородиці в Монкальєрі, біля Турина. Може хтось із наших знає, чим цей отець Максим відомий у себе в Румунії?

Good to see the Romanian diocese getting some extra help with a new assistant bishop. The ordination on the feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Moncalieri sounds well chosen. Anyone know what sort of work Archimandrite Maxim was doing in Romania before this?

Yeah, the timing on the Nativity of the Mother of God feels right for something like this. I wonder what parishes or youth work Archimandrite Maxim was involved with back in Romania before they picked him – the article cuts off right at his studies. Nice to see the Romanian diocese getting that extra hand in Italy.

The Nativity feast does feel fitting for an ordination like this. From what I’ve read, before heading to Italy he spent time as a hieromonk at the Putna Monastery up in Suceava County, where he worked a lot with their youth camps and pilgrim groups. Do you know if the new Bishop of Danubius will be based in Turin or somewhere else in the diocese?
