Approximately 120 priests and believers participated in a blood donation campaign in Sighisoaratranslated

Approximately 120 priests and believers participated on Tuesday in a blood donation drive, organized at the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Sighisoara.

The action was carried out with the support of the Târgu Mureș Blood Transfusion Center, whose employees traveled to the municipality of Sighisoara to facilitate blood donation.

The representatives of the Archdiocese highlighted the solidarity of the priests and believers who responded to the initiative: "We are overjoyed to discover the sacrifice and empathy shown by the priests and believers of the Archdiocese of Sighisoara".

"We constantly organize such actions to help our fellow citizens in difficulty, who are waiting for our love", the representatives of the Archdiocese of Sighisoara sent.

The campaign "Donate blood, save a life!" represents one of the most important social-philanthropic initiatives of the Romanian Patriarchate, taking place in all the counties of the country and in the diaspora. In the more than 13 years of activity, through the campaign, more than 25,000 liters of blood were collected for patients in Romania.
