The ensemble "Paraskeva" took second place in the singing competition "Rejoice"translated

On November 4, the results of the VI Singing Competition “Rejoice”, timed to coincide with the Feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, were summed up. The vocal ensemble “Paraskeva” of the Sunday school at the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the city of Novoulyanovsk under the leadership of Yulia Maslova took second place in it.

48 choirs from all over Russia took part in the competition. All participants and winners were awarded diplomas.

— We thank the organizer of the competition, Mother Elena Koroleva, for her attention to each participant and the creative atmosphere. We were glad to be part of this musical event,” noted ensemble director Yulia Maslova.

The VI Singing Competition “Rejoice” was held in an online format in the singing community “Overheard on the Choir” on VKontakte. It was dedicated to the celebration in honor of the Kazan image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The groups recorded videos with chants; the participants were choirs from different dioceses of Russia.
