The staff of the Basilica Press Center of the Romanian Patriarchate were honored on Thursday with a Commemorative Diploma 2026 and medal, in recognition of their contribution to media coverage of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth (IMO) 2026, held in Bucharest.

The awards were presented by the Very Reverend Father Paisius Sinaites, Episcopal Vicar of the Patriarchate, during a ceremony organized in the "Europe Christiana" Hall of the Patriarchal Palace.

His Very Reverence highlighted that the award represents a moment of recognition from the Very Reverend Father Patriarch Daniel for the efforts made by the teams of Basilica News Agency, Trinitas TV, Radio Trinitas, and Lumina Newspaper in reflecting the statements dedicated to young people: "We are at a moment of appreciation and recognition."

"Through professionalism, dedication, and hard work, they succeeded in enhancing and making known this event," said the hierarch.
