An important project for the Agona Abodom Orthodox Community in Ghana is being launched with the support of the Orthodox Foreign Mission Brotherhood of Thessaloniki. As stated in the relevant press release of the Holy Metropolis of Accra, the preparation of a full technical and static study is progressing for the ground-up renovation of the Holy Church of Saint John the Theologian, which has remained out of service for years due to serious static problems and extensive damage. The Diocese expresses its gratitude to the Brotherhood, its donors and supporters for their decisive contribution, while pointing out that other projects are expected to be implemented in the near future, including the renovation of churches and the drilling of wells for the supply of drinking water.
