Africa Creative Market (ACM) is one of Africa's most important pan-continental platforms, bringing together creative industry professionals, investors, policy makers, businesses and development partners, with the aim of harnessing the economic potential of the African creative economy. More than an exhibition, ACM acts as a venue for promoting innovation, investment, cultural exchange and strategic partnerships in the fields of fashion, music, film, visual arts, design, tourism, cultural heritage and digital media, strengthening Africa's position as a rising power in the global creative economy.

In the context of this year's event, the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Zambia and Mozambique, under the spiritual leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Ioannis, actively participated by presenting the Greek stand with the theme: "Entrepreneurship, Greek Orthodox Tradition and Olympic Ideal".

Interestingly, they chose the “Olympic Ideal” theme for their stand in Africa. What exactly were shown at the stand - icons, books, or maybe some handicrafts from Greece?

Interestingly, the Olympic ideal is well connected with the Greek tradition. But I am interested in what exactly they exhibited on that peripter - icons, books or some handicrafts from Greece, as Ljubov says?

It is interesting that they put the Olympic ideal in the topic for Africa, because it is really connected with Greek roots. However, I am also interested in what they specifically exhibited on that peripter - icons, some books about Orthodoxy or maybe handicrafts from Greece? It would be nice to hear the details from someone who was there.

Interesting what you say about the Olympic ideal, Danica. As far as I heard from the people who were there, they had icons and some handmade crosses from Greece on the peripter, as well as booklets about the mission in Zambia. And have you been to a similar exhibition?

Interesting that they connected the Olympic idea with the Orthodox tradition. The handmade crosses from Greece and the booklets about the mission in Zambia sound like a good mix. Have any of you ever been to a stand like this and seen how the Africans reacted to it?

Yes, it is very interesting that they connected the Olympic ideal with Africa, because sports are also developing a lot there through the mission. On the peripter, as far as I heard from a friend from the mission, they displayed icons made in Zambia, some books in local languages and photos from Greek monasteries. Have you been to a similar event?

Interesting, yes. The small hand-carved crosses made of olive wood were always well received by Africans because they could hold something real in their hands. I don't know whether the connection to the Olympic idea was of much use - but the mission booklets about Zambia quickly disappeared. Have you ever been to a trade fair like this yourself, Georg?
