Acad. Ioan-Aurel Pop, the guest of the new Cultural Festival from the Moldovița monastery in Bukovinatranslated

Acad. Ioan-Aurel Pop is the guest of the July 23, 2026 edition of the Cultural Festival from Mănăstirea Moldovița, Suceava county.

The academician will give, starting at 17:00, the lecture "The language of the old cauldrons or about religious communication in the Middle Ages".

The program will include the recital of Old Song from Upper Country, by archid. Ieremia Sărmaș and the itinerant exhibition of calligrams The word carries beautifully.

The Cultural Festivals at the Moldovița Monastery are initiated and coordinated by the monastic community, in collaboration with the Suceava County School Inspectorate, with the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţil - through the Cultural Sector and the Media and Communication Sector, and with the "Maria de Mangop" Orthodox Women's Society.
