ესფიგმენუს მონასტრის იღუმენი ლოცავს კიევში მიტროპოლიტ ეპიფანესთარგმანი

2026 წლის 12 ივლისს ათონის ესფიგმენოს მონასტრის წინამძღვარმა არქიმანდრიტმა ბართლომემ მონასტრის საძმოსთან ერთად საღმრთო ლიტურგია კიევისა და სრულიად უკრაინის მიტროპოლიტ ეპიფანესთან ერთად კიევის მთავარანგელოზ მიქაელის სახელობის ტაძარში აღავლინა.

საღმრთო ლიტურგიის დასრულების შემდეგ მიტროპოლიტმა ეპიფანემ იღუმენი და ათონიელი მამები მიტროპოლიტ რეზიდენციაში მიიღო, სადაც მხარეებმა გულითადად შეიკრიბნენ.

შეკრებაზე უკრაინის მართლმადიდებელი ეკლესიის წინამძღვარმა გულწრფელი მადლობა გადაუხადა არქიმანდრიტ ბართლომეს და მის თანმხლებ დელეგაციას ქვეყნის წინაშე მდგარი გამოწვევების ფონზე კიევში ყოფნისთვის.

მიტროპოლიტმა ეპიფანემ ხაზი გაუსვა ვიზიტის მნიშვნელობას და აღნიშნა, რომ ათონელმა მამებმა ომით გამოწვეული შიშისა და სირთულეების მიუხედავად უკრაინაში მოგზაურობით იმედის გზავნილი შეიტანეს.

It's good to see monks from Athos coming all the way to Kyiv. The quote from Archimandrite Bartholomew about perfect love casting out fear is spot on, especially with everything that's going on.

I agree, that Scripture quote really lands when you think about the long trip they made. Our parish prayer list still has several families from Ukraine on it, and hearing Athonite monks show up in person feels more concrete than another online statement. Have you followed Esphigmenou much before this?
