Tu as déjà visité le site toi-même ?

We took a day trip to Holywell a couple summers ago after choir practice and the water really does just keep pouring out like it has for centuries. My little one loved filling his bottle and carrying it home in the car. Did the Welsh group mention anything about the shrine at Wallasey?

The Welsh group did mention stopping at the Wallasey shrine on the way back — they lit a candle there for the local martyr. That’s sweet about your little one filling his bottle; mine always insists on drinking straight from the spring and then complains it’s too cold. Did the water stay fresh for you the whole drive home?

The Welsh group said they stopped at the Wallasey shrine too and lit a candle for the local martyr. That’s lovely your little one carried his own bottle home – mine would have probably spilled it all over the car seats before we reached the A55. Did you drink any of the water yourselves or just take it back?

Yes, we did sip a little straight from the well – it tastes surprisingly clean and cold even on a warm day. Our daughter was so proud clutching her own bottle the whole way back that we barely trusted her with the car cup holders either. Did your group manage to stay long at Wallasey or was it just a quick stop before heading home?
