My grandmother used to tell me that women couldn’t sew and sew on the Other Most Pure One, but they could weave from the city. Tsikavo, why do you still want to live in villages? At the church yesterday the priest himself briefly thought about it.

My mother-in-law from Tetovo also used to say that at Vovedene you don't wash clothes or sew, but you can work as much as you want in the garden. I still stick to it, at least for laundry. Interestingly, did Father tell you exactly why sewing is prohibited?
