10/16/26 Metropolitan Joseph held a meeting on the issue of restoration of the churches of Plyostranslated

On October 16, a meeting was held in the building of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration on the issue of restoration of the Trinity, Vvedensky, Transfiguration and Assumption churches in the city of Plyos. The meeting was headed by Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga.

Designers, engineers, heads of contracting and design organizations took part in the work. Also present were the secretary of the Diocesan Administration, priest Georgy Vityazev; Abbess Anatolia (Borshai), abbess of the metochion of the Transfiguration Church of the St. Nicholas Convent in the city of Plyos; Archpriest Andrei Lyachin, rector of the parish of the Holy Dormition Church in the city of Plyos; Priest Sergius Kutumov, rector of the parish of the Holy Trinity Church in the city of Plyos.

The participants discussed the progress of design and restoration work, the interaction of the Diocesan Administration, parishes, contractors and design organizations. Particular attention was paid to preserving the historical appearance of the churches and the quality of the work.
