08/16/26 In the Ivanovo “Interdom” a concert of sacred music was held for children from different countriestranslated

On August 16 at the International Education Center “Interdom” named after E.D. Stasova hosted a concert of sacred music with the participation of two creative groups. The choir of Orthodox volunteers of the Ivanovo Metropolis “Rejoice” and the youth choir “Facetia” of the Sretensky Monastery in Moscow performed for the pupils, among whom were children from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and North Macedonia.

Before the start of the concert, the secretary of the Diocesan Administration of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese, the rector of the Transfiguration Church in the city of Ivanovo, and diocesan missionary Priest Georgy Vityazev addressed the young audience. The priest told the children about the importance of prayer in the life of an Orthodox person and song in Russian culture, and that without God it is impossible to find true spiritual freedom.

The concert took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Creative groups gave the children the joy of communicating with Orthodox culture and Russian spiritual music.
