On August 17, guests from the Plyos sanatoriums visited the Resurrection Cathedral in the city of Vichug. A tour of the territory and the cathedral was given to them by Deacon Sergius Bezzubov, who spoke about the history of the church, its architectural features and interior decoration. The meeting ended with a missionary word from Father Sergius, addressing issues of faith and spiritual rebirth of man. The vacationers noted that the excursion made a deep impression on them and opened up new facets of the Orthodox heritage of the Vichuga land.
