On August 13, on the eve of the Origin of the Honest Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga and Bishop Isaac of Kasimov and Sasov celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.

Concelebrating with the archpastors was the secretary of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration, Priest Georgy Vityazev, Hegumen Yuvenaly (Lepeshkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Hieromonk Theophanes (Naumov), Hierodeacon Varnava (Laguta) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

The Apostle was read by Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko), the Gospel was read by Hierodeacon Varnava (Laguta).

The liturgical chants were performed by a choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).

Readers Ilya Novikov, Andrey Filippov, Pavel Romashenko and Roman Sorokin served as subdeacons.

Abbess Neonilla, the abbess of the Nikolsky Shostiensky Stavropegial Convent, prayed during the service.
