08/11/2026 Metropolitan Joseph and Bishop Isaac led the service of the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On August 11, on the feast of the Nativity of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga and Bishop Isaac of Kasimov and Sasov celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo. During the service in the church there was an icon with part of the holy relics of St. Nicholas.

The archpastors were concelebrated by the secretary of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration, Priest Georgy Vityazev, and the monastic clergy of the diocese.

The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

The Apostle was read by Hierodeacon Auxentius (Fokin), the Gospel was read by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

The liturgical chants were performed by a choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).

Readers Ilya Novikov, Andrey Filippov, Pavel Romashenko and Kirill Ovchinnikov served as subdeacons.
