08/09/2026 Metropolitan Joseph celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On August 9, the 10th Sunday after Pentecost and the day of remembrance of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo. During the service in the church there was an icon with part of the relics of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev), Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Hieromonk Theophanes (Naumov), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

The apostle was read by Hierodeacon Auxentius (Fokin).

The Gospel was read by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir under the direction of Alexander Milan-Petrov.

Reader Ilya Novikov, Philip Rusieshvili, Andrei Filippov, Alexander Filippov, Kirill Ovchinnikov served as subdeacons.
