08/07/2026 Metropolitan Joseph celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On August 7, on the feast of the Dormition of Righteous Anna, the mother of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the day of remembrance of St. Macarius of Zheltovodsk, Unzhensk, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Ivanovo. In the church during the service there was an ark with a particle of the relics of St. Macarius of Zheltovodsk, Unzhensky and an icon with a particle of the relics of the righteous Anna.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), and Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin).

The apostle was read by reader Alexander Silaev.

The Gospel was read by Hierodeacon Auxentius (Fokin).

Liturgical hymns were performed by Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev) and Valentina Davydova.

The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov, Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko) and Reader Alexander Silaev.
